For decades councils in Queensland have relied upon traditional community engagement tools such as surveys, feedback forms, town hall meetings and pop-up booths to find answers to these important questions.
Our communities though are changing, the world is moving faster and the LGAQ recognises that for NextGen councils’ new tools are needed.
To better support members the Association has today launched Our Town – an interactive digital dashboard that can provide near real-time insights into emerging issues, council performance, community safety and community sentiment.
Such insights can actively assist your council to make better local decisions, improve customer service, respond more quickly, and reduce operational risks.
